A lot of you don't know this about me, and it forms the crux of today's episode: I'm a social media marketer. In my first summer job I managed the social media marketing for The Psychotic Disorders Program at UMass Medical School. Though I was inexperienced (and arguably immature) for the task, in less than 3 weeks I more than doubled my brand's reach on Twitter. On Episode 57 of The UPStarts Podcast, I want to share some tips that will help you do the same or better than me. Social media's not all about getting attention either; and in fact having a lot of flame and no fire is probably the best way to stay in obscurity. So, buckle in, take notes, and I'll tell you how to create a meaningful community through social media! Enjoy, and remember all your feedback is welcome!
