Creating 'Pretty Shannon': A Musical Journey from Concept to Final Mix
In this week's episode of Tebovision, we're diving deep into the recording process of my newest original song, 'Pretty Shannon.'
Join me as I take you behind the scenes of the long but rewarding journey that is music production. Watch as I record my lead vocals in Ableton Live (02:23), oh and you'll get to meet my studio cats, who can be quite a handful during these sessions (05:53).
You're in for a treat as we capture Ram Ko's stunning violin tracks (07:50), backup vocals, and piano sessions (09:37 and 09:55). It's these moments that give me a real sense of amazement and optimism for future recordings (10:26 and 11:37).
I then proceed to clean up all the recorded tracks (13:13) and complete the final mix for 'Pretty Shannon' (14:26). The satisfaction of hearing the final product is an emotion that every songwriting musician lives for.
To wrap things up, I head out to Cunningham's Pub to host an energetic bunch of open mic jammers, closing the week off with a high note (16:56).
