After finishing a degree in teaching, and travelling, she thought she would help her mum and dad promote the gin made by them and another farming family here in Herefordshire.

Two years later she’s still helping and loving every minute. Penrhos Spirits was born from a desire to utilise everything the farm has to offer. For many years the founders, Charlie and Dickie had felt compelled to use the fruit that wasn’t quite perfect enough for the supermarket.

So, a few years ago on a sunny Spring morning Charlie was inspired by the cherry blossom and how he could use it to make something special. Their award-winning range now includes 3 gins, 1 liqueur, a non-alcoholic raspberry spirit and a honey spiced rum.
