Dr Ella McPherson is an Associate Professor of the Sociology of New Media and Digital Technology, co-director of the Centre of Governance and Human Rights, and the new Deputy Head of the School of Humanities at the University of Cambridge. She also leads The Whistle, an academic startup focused on social change through technology.
