Mel’s Mindful Moments S1-E7 transcript:
A success formula in any partnership can be summed up in a simple formula.
Value + Application = Contribution.
The value is what you bring to the table your skills, your time, your energy, your abilities, your work ethic.
Now in order to add to application, you will apply it to whatever type partnership you are contributing to,
...be it a relationship, a marriage, a business, a job, a team working on a project, that sort of thing.
So application is simply applying your value to that partnership and the result is your contribution.
In order to be successful though, all members must apply this formula to the partnership.
You really need to do away with that percentage myth. Because sometimes one partner(s) will be contributing a higher percentage than the other(s). There is no 50/50, it will always vary.
The more important thing is ensuring each member contributes, adding their value to the partnership. The moment one partner stops adding value, that’s were failure can creep in.
Now if you want to supercharge you partnerships, then add in open communication. This will bring clarity and understanding to the partnership, which is also vital for success.
Good luck!
