Accountability is essential in every relationship, organization and aspect of life, but you can't hold someone accountable if you're not in relationship with them. Telling someone what they're doing wrong without the relationship is criticizing, and we're called to correct those we're in relationship with, not criticize. With a world that's polarized on almost every topic, we are called to fight for healthy accountability and correction, but never to criticize.
