Dear Liv

Creating Your Own Vision With Sheri Salata, Founder & CEO Of The Support System & Salata Co.

Listen Later

I’m joined by author, speaker, and producer Sheri Salata. She’s the former executive producer of The Oprah Winfrey Show and co-president of Oprah Winfrey Network and Harpo Productions. Since leaving TV production, Sheri has become what she calls a “transformation doula” and provides support for people who are stepping into a new chapter of their life.

Sheri opens up about what it was like to switch careers in her 50s, the importance of being your own teacher, and the power of the little practices done consistently with reverence. She shares the most valuable thing that she learned from her time with Oprah and the healing process that she went through when she wrote her memoir. Plus, she dives into the work she’s doing today, particularly the course and support group that she leads.

IN THIS EPISODE, WE TALK ABOUT:

  • What it was like for Sheri to leave OWN at the height of her TV production career
