We were created to show God's goodness and kindness to all creation. Instead of enjoying this mission, the first humans tried to take a shortcut to gain wisdom and become more "like God." They weren't ready for what they learned and all creation came into a catastrophe with their bad choice.

God's purpose remains the same, and so Jesus came to save us, restore us to community with his Father and with each other. In community, we receive again the task of shoring God's goodness and kindness to the rest of creation. Where sin is great, GOd's forgiveness and restoring love is even greater!
