In his teaching in Mark 10:2-16, Jesus refers back to the conclusion of the creation story in Genesis 2 -- the two become one, joined by God. The Pharisees try to trip Jesus up by asking a legal question about divorce. And we are left to reflect on God's intentions for creation and our own community.
