Creation Corner: It has been A LONG TIME since we last put together a Creation Corner episode, so it's high time! Join us in this episode as we look at a book that is full of all sorts of great ideas for Dungeon Masters who are trying to build rich worlds. The Survey of Cornwall was published in 1602, and captures what life was like at the time; mining the text for details could help you round out parts of your world to make for a better play experience. It's worth a read, and we'd love to know what you think!

The book is available on Amazon, for a price. If you don't want to spend the money or don't have shelf space, it's also available for free on the Internet Archive.

If you want to check out a song that showcases a rather overblown version of the Cornish accent, you'll want to listen to The Combine Harvester, which hit number one on charts in 1976. (There may not have been a lot going on in music then, but I can't get it out of my head.) It's silly, but fun.

We didn't use our spot for Battlebards this time, but when we do it uses music from Battlebards! We hope you like our use of:

We didn't use any Creative Commons sound effects or music in this episode, but it's always worth mentioning freesound.org, a fantastic resource for completely free sound effects.

And now, on with the show-- we're excited to tell a story with you.
