Tyler Trout is a name that many of you listening are very familiar with, but you likely may now know what Tyler’s been up to for the past year or so since leaving the sports design world!
Like many of us Tyler grew up with a love of sport and playing sports as well as a need to create all the time. As a D1 collegiate Discuss and Hammer captain he gained the leadership chops to really outline where he wanted to go in life. He got started early as you will hear, filling a need at the University of South Carolina creating some marketing posters for some of the lesser supported teams.
Tyler would take this new found passion and run with it, making the right connections and building the right relationships along the way to land him in some of the most prestigious design jobs in the country, yet this drive and hunger to do things right also meant months and months of living the unhealthy grind life, working till 3-4am consistently for months on end and being completely disconnected from all outside life and relationships, including his marriage at one point in the not so recent past.
But, like many of us coming through college with a sense of wonder and openness to new ideas Tyler would go through many different paths to eventually end up really falling in love with design.
