No creative term has caused more angst than the myth of creator’s block or writer’s block.
When a person decides to create a work of art the success is established before she begins.
Did you pick the subject from your head or your heart?
Is the project organic to you and the life you’ve experienced?
Are the details drawn from your own lived knowledge?
The start time must coincide with supportive cosmic energies, which is different for every person. I’ve only begun to explain planetary shifts that are supportive, but none guarantee a smooth ride unless the questions I just asked have constructive and supportive answers.
Truth magnetizes the law of attraction and manifests our desires.
Creative mastery is commitment to the intensely long journey over a lifetime.
Creativity attached to truth can’t be blocked.
It takes willful participation from the creator to stop the flow.
Fear. Anxiety. Doubt. Cowardice.
Four of the many emotions that a person can lean on instead of trust, truth, and purpose.
There’s also sickness, addiction, etc.
Creator’s block, writer’s block, You Name Your Block are weak off-ramps giving permission to ignore the truth.
A creator who accepts the notion of “writer’s block” has put obstacles in her own way.
Our mind isn’t a dispenser.
Inspiration is required when a tough creative moment arrives.
Meditation is the medicine, but many won’t commit to this process. It’s necessary for all creatives, even Mr. Sorkin.
IT’S ALL A PROCESS, whether the day is flowing, or when content is hard to produce.
Health, diet, and many other things cause the mind to balk.
The answer isn’t to push through.
Instead, dive deep into the silence, listen to music and dream, take a walk in nature.
Sometimes you must wait for your intuition to download the path forward.
THE MIND NEEDS TIME.
It’s not a block, it’s an organic function... ...
