Episode 108! One of my all-time favourite interviews with one of the most inspiring ladies of the world today, Rukmini Walker. Here's a little excerpt from our conversation about Bhakti:
"In our culture, we have this pyramid of power where human beings are at the top, and we are the sovereign, thinking that we can control and manipulate...we think in terms of this controlling, manipulating, dominating way. So this pyramid of power...we all kind of think like this...but Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has actually inverted it to be like this. To put the grass and the trees, the earth and all living beings at the top. And we as human beings should be thinking, 'Oh how can I serve you?' This is Bhakti! How can I serve you? How can I love you? How can I honour you? How can I honour the Earth? How can I be the servant of the servant, of the servant, of all living beings? This is the beauty of Bhakti."
