Welcome back! In episode 5, I'm continuing the conversation about creativity and its importance in society. There is a shift coming to the world of education, one that is long overdue and will be the driver of cultural evolution for generations to come. The reintroduction of creativity into our schooling will be the catalyst for a new age of knowledge and way of thinking. When you look back at the great renaissances across history, the vital changes were our views on education and the arts, specifically the intersection between the two. I believe we are sitting at another such crossroads today; the only logical next step in our evolution is cultivating creativity from a young age and continuing to do so through adulthood. As the world of work shifts, so must the education system. Gone are the days when the American Dream referred to a secure job, a 30-year mortgage, and a pension plan (which won't even exist by the time Gen-Z hits "retirement age"). In a society where digital nomads and passion projects are the new norms, creativity is the driving force as we chart our paths to pursuing purpose. Let's make America creative again!
