This week, we're joined by filmmakers Larry and Terry Ziegelman, born nine minutes apart in St. Louis. They started their lifelong collaborations at an early age, drawing, painting, and even co‑directing plays in high school.
After earning a degree in Art Direction, Larry was drawn to advertising, where he created prizewinning campaigns and Super Bowl spots. He’s now morphed into directing big commercial ideas along with creating his own celebrated web series and music videos.
Terry studied Computer Animation and went on to work on memorable feature films, including Robots, Ice Age, and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. He’s also written and directed his own highly lauded short films.
Thankfully, they are still collaborating—now creating original, award-winning short films and combining their unique skills to push their inventive narratives forward.
