Creators Series, Episode 1: Michael Kenny

Listen Later

  • Be sure to check in every week on the Media Futurists Podcast for the Creators Series, where on every episode we’ll sit down with creators to interview them on their work and the journeys they took in order to get where they are.
  • Michael Kenny, student director of Red Earth, is a creator who decided that the restrictions of a 1 minute student project animation didn’t do justice to the climate change centered project he intended to make. Inspired by his own experiences in driving through the dry and dusty lands of Australia, Kenny created a film all the death and destruction of Australian animals due to climate change. So why did he do it?
  • Don’t forget to check back in next week, where we sit down with Elia Petridis to discuss how and why he came about creating the Petridis Prototype, his own invention for screenwriting for 360 films in our modern age of technology.
