On Creature Comforts, Kevin Farrell is joined by Dr. Troy Majure, veterinarian at the Animal Medical Center in Jackson and Libby Hartfield retired director of the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science.

Our state contains many species of plants and insects scattered throughout its borders, but though they may all call Mississippi home, some actually have welcomed themselves here from other places. Brady Dunaway, ecologist at the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science joins us today to tell us about the plants and insects – both native AND invasive - residing here in our state.
