On Creature Comforts, Kevin Farrell is joined by Dr. Troy Majure, veterinarian at the Animal Medical Center in Jackson and Libby Hartfield retired director of the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science.

As one of the larger birds in Mississippi, Sandhill Cranes stand head and feathers above most of the birds we encounter here in the state. Today, Scott Hereford, Supervisory Wildlife Biologist at the Sandhill Crane Wildlife Refuge joins the show to discuss what makes these birds so special and how to identify them. Also, Libby Hartfield is out today, so Joe McGee steps in to fill her shoes.
