In 1981 Director Lucio Fulci continued a series of bleak atmospheric nightmares with a tale of a young woman who inherits a doorway into the mouth of hell. Not surprisingly the film was met with disdain and was heavily edited. Though as is the case with all great misunderstood works its audience would unearth the directors true intent.
