This book read was out of the box for us. Very tropey for sure which is definitely what you get when you read Penelope Douglas. We meet Tiernan, a 17 year old girl who has had the world's worst childhood, never felt wanted or loved and is going through the devastation of losing both her parents. She is left to her "uncle" Jake, whom she has never met, in her father's will. Jake is her father's estranged step brother and lives up in the mountains in Colorado with his 2 grown sons. She decides to move there for a short time to get away from everything socialite in California. The need to wrap your brain around the fact that they aren't blood related is important here, as she moves into this house with 3 men. It gets wild, and crazy, and wild some more.
