Good definitely worth a listen.

Imagantive storyline, with solid plot twists . The narrator did a wonderful job with both pacing and building tension (she seemed to do well with all the character roles while being true to the author's original concept. what I mean by that is that I have frequently fond that narrators interpret characters (especially female characters) that I would have viewed as strong, so that they sound like paranoid or weak-willed individuals who are waiting for a man to rescue them from their miserable life; and I just HATE it when that happens! :) Now for the one thing that irritated me abt the narrator - her voice uh... just went really weird wgen playing the main character under stress; i cant put my finger on it but it is like she drops vowels or something, and it makes the character sound as though severe stress either gives her a speech impedimen or turns her into a half-wit, and then when things calm down she snaps back to normal! VERY ODD especially when u consider the amazing job she does of narration regardless of the character's gender. I purchased the author's next book (Freak) immediately after writing this review and lfinished it in one sitting (i am back editing original review). I enjoy the author's character development and interaction between characters along with plot crescendo & diminuendo development - I feel that as she continues writing she will rapidly become VERY good (following the same well-worn path as one my fav authors of this genre, Harlan Coben).

over all good

This book didn't move as quickly as her book "The Butcher" did. The narrator slurs her words a lot and sometimes sounds like she has been drinking and/or has a dental implant. Over all the story line is good. Going to listen to book two now and I am hoping it's a different narrator.

Amazing! A must read!

Five stars across the board, downloading book #2 as we speak! Narrator was perfect she did an awesome job with the different characters in the book through out her reading, I truly enjoyed this audible experience.

It was good, a nice surprise twist and okay story. There were a couple things that I didn't like (too far fetched) but it didn't distract me too long.

Psychological tease, but not a thriller!!

I was expecting an "up all night" read/listen based on the reviews of this book. Unfortunately, I didn't lose any sleep!! It was pretty tame, and pretty cookie cutter.
