AnonymousApr 30, 2019I can't remember all the finer details of this story but I regularly remember this happening. Of all the things I've forgotten from my childhood this situation has never left me, and deep down I believe it's because I avoided a potentially life changing experience.

I was about 10 years old and I was staying at my best friend's house for a few days. We spent a lot of time together and I went to her house often; her family was a bit wild because her younger siblings were a bit of a handful but they were a nice family. This one time her Turkish aunty, uncle and their son were staying with them. I should also note that this was in the days where mobile phones weren't a thing everyone had, and I didn't have one.
