Pleasant Surprise

After readings some of the reviews I'm a tad shocked on what some of the bad reviews said. This was a unique take on witches. I thoroughly enjoyed the world. Sometimes it felt like a lot of information at once being pushed at you, but otherwise enjoyable world. The characters were fun and all had a unique character trait. There were some typos but not so much as to distract the reader. I am very interested in finishing the series. This did NOT leave you on a cliffhanger like other series tend to to encourage more sales versus talent and story selling a reader on becoming attached to a series.

Crescent Bound

I've had this book for almost a year now, I'm not sure why it doesn't have more reviews for it since it is clearly a well written book. That's just sad! Needless to say I'm going to be devouring the next 3 books that are out. 4 books in total if you are not sure.

The writing is very good for someone who is just a beginning author. You can literally see the difference in the writing by the end of the book. For sure you can see and feel the author growing with you and the characters too. Its always nice to see that an author always strives to make themselves better. Clearly this is the case with this author and her writing stage at the start off was already remarkable in its own right, I can only hope to see how far she will come in the fourth book. This is something I'm going to greatly appreciate if she already grew from a very good writer to even a better than before, if that's at all possible since she wasn't bad to begin with.

Enough about all of that! Lets get down to the story... shall we? We go straight into meeting our heroine by the name Alyssa. Then we get to meet her 2 besties Megan and Lisa. Along the way we also greet and get to know Dawson (Lisa's life-mate,) Marq (life-mate to Alyss,) David and a few randoms here and there. I really did love these side characters.
