Sonny is the son of former New Orleans Saints third round draft choice, Bivian Lee II in 1971. Sonny's life was transformed by his father's untimely death in 1984. He served as Aide to former New Orleans Saints Owner Tom Benson.
He is the Founder of the Son of a Saint Foundation in New Orleans, LA. His foundation has helped over 100 fatherless boys in the New Orleans community. His mother was an inspiration for his commitment to counseling and providing help to young men growing-up without a father. He is an advocate to provide aid amid the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the City of New Orleans.
