The CPSC and Cressi-sub USA are recalling Scuba Buoyancy Compensator Devices (BCDs) with LP inflator hoses.  This critical unit has defective metal fittings on the inflator hose that produce airflow restriction and failure to inflate or improper inflation of the BCD. These flaws create a drowning hazard for the diver.  About 1350 of these devices were sold nationwide.  The recalled inflator hoses have serial numbers 007/22, 019/22 or 035/22 stamped into the metal fitting that attaches the hose to the compensator device.  Stop using these recalled bouncing compensator devices and contact Cressi-sub USA at 1-800-338-9143 or via email at [email protected]  to receive a free replacement LP inflator hose, installation instructions, and a pre-paid mailing label to return the defective hose.
