Perhaps there isn’t a job you’d imagine as being further from beach culture than member of parliament? Nevertheless, South Wales has for several decades had a surfing MP! So how does David TC Davies balance the most pinstripe job there is with sandy toes? And does it influence his views on the stuff that matters? With politics geek Producer Dodd (a dyed-in-the-wool Marxist, apparently!) joining Tom as co-host, we talk the ocean and lifestyle, before debating a few key policies from a surfer’s perspective. We've also got to say a big thanks for a cameo appearance from local grommet, Mack Jenkins, of the Bridgend Youth Council, who we've appointed as our 'Political Editor' after Laura Kuenssberg's CV didn't contain enough surf credentials. We had our first Olympic medallist earlier this series… and now it’s time to welcome our first MP!
