We start with the amazing turn around by England's cricketers in India after Ollie Pope’s 196 helped them to a surprise win in the first test. And whilst England were winning in Ahmedabad the West Indies eked out a nerve-shredding 8-run win in Brisbane, to record their first test victory on Australian soil since 1997.

Staying in Australia, it was the final weekend of the Australian tennis open. Janick Sinner came back from two sets down to beat Daniil Medvedev, which gives the 22 year old Italian his first Grand Slam event. In the women's final Aryna Sabalenka beat Zheng Qinwen in straight sets, whilst in the wheelchair men's final it was defeat for Britain’s Alfie Hewitt as he lost

to Japanese teen to Quito Oda..

With the Six Nations rugby kicking off this weekend we bring you a preview of the first round of games and predictions for the tournament.

In football it was the FA Cup 4th round and Manchester United held off a spirited fight back from Newport to make it through alongside Newcastle, Manchester City and Liverpool. Meanwhile Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp shocked the football world announcing he will step down at the end of the season.

In NFL we have the two teams confirmed for Super Bowl LVIII.

Kansas City Chiefs beat the Ravens 17-10 to keep their hopes of back-to-back titles alive, whilst the San Francisco 49ers came from behind for the second week running to beat the Detroit Lions and book their place in Las Vegas for the 11th of February.
