  1. When a non US citizen is charged with a crime, at what point does the federal government get involved?
  2. Does any crime trigger removal proceeding?
  3. If the client or defendant is acquitted or the case is dismissed on a motion to suppress or some other pre-trial motion, does that end the possibility of removal?
  4. If a client enters a plea or is convicted and sentenced to county jail or state prison, does the federal government move for removal once they have served their sentence or their minimum? 
  5. If a client enters a plea or is convicted and receives probation or a suspended sentence does the federal government move for removal immediately? 
  6. If the Court orders removal, is the client basically put on a plane or ship and sent back to the country of origin?
