James starts off with his Cannonball Run movie idea for this weekend before getting into the B1G picks for this week.  Learn why Michigan won’t cover, why he loves Illinois, why Purdue can easily cover over ND, why the Iowa point under is always a good bet, why he hates Maryland, and his thoughts on how to bet the IU v UCLA game.

Indiana came out and layed a historic beatdown on a clearly overmatched Western Illinois team. The Hoosiers set program records for points and yards in a game. Despite the poor quality of the opponent, the game was important on a number of levels. We discuss those levels on the show, including the importance of getting fans (especially young fans) excited about IU football, the key elements of execution and how this sort of a game helps out, and the importance of showing this level of dominance over a full 60 minutes of football.

We also discuss IU's impending game against UCLA, and talk about the overall gameday atmosphere at Memorial Stadium.

For this episode, we evaluate Indiana's 31-7 triumph over Florida International, and focus on the solid play of the defense throughout. We also discuss some of the issues related to the offense, the impact of new additions to the roster, and getting a chance to see Cignetti on the sidelines for the first time.
