In the oil-rich country of Venezuela the battle for presidency continues. Once the wealthiest country in Latin America, the severe humanitarian crisis, caused by the United Socialist party of Venezuela, has forced millions of people to flee in an effort to escape starvation, medicinal shortages, and hyperinflation. Given the current economic state, does America have an obligation to get involved? What is the definition of success when the government tries to redistribute wealth from one group to another?
