Critical Infrastructure is Preparedness

This week marks  Emergency Preparedness Week, where public agencies offer ideas and suggestions to help you build a more prepared life.  However, they are unfortunately built on strategies that are decades old and have failed to move the yardsticks on preparedness behaviour adoption.
Our societies are wonderful constructions of inter-connected systems that we all take for granted and rarely consider.  We no longer shelter, feed or water ourselves - we have handed that responsibility over to the state and corporations, having to acquire those through leveraging our Labour for wages.  We wake every morning assuming the water will be potable, the power will turn on and the grocery store will have food.  We don't consider when one of those fails, especially not for extended periods of time.
Critical Infrastructure should be the foundation of your preparedness plan.  so listen in, follow as we being the process of developing that with you.  A plan designed by you, for you with likely very little if anything to purchase.  Preparedness is free my friends.
