With the Critics Choice Awards just around the corner (January 4th, 2026) and the Golden Globes shortly after (January 11th, 2026), Brandon sits down with Colorado-based filmmaker Luke Antonio to discuss the nominees for both the Critics Choice and Golden Globe Awards, as well as the Netflix/Warner Bros. merger.

What films overlapped on both early-season ballots? What surprises, snubs, and surges came from the nominations? Brandon and Luke examine the films in the best position for an Academy Award nomination, as well as debate whether or not the Golden Globe Awards finally have relevancy for Awards considerations.
