Sunbeam Products and the CPSC are recalling Crock-Pot 6-Quart Express Crock Multi-Cookers.  This unit is able to pressurize even if the lid is not completely locked permitting the lid to suddenly detach and allowing the hot contents to spew out and burn the user.  Stop using this product in pressure cooker mode.   You may continue to use it for slow cooking.  Contact the Crock-Pot company by calling 1-800-323-9519 to obtain a free replacement lid.
