happens to the best of us... amirite, ladies?

hi, I'm Christine, and welcome (back) to the MyIBSLife podcast! in the midst of a mental breakdown earlier today, i had some flashbacks to the beginning days of my IBS journey. considering it's been over 16 years since I was first diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, I sometimes forget how truly dark and lonely those first few years of navigating my new illness (and new life) were.

although some of these memories should've probably stayed a secret, I wanted to talk about them in case there is anyone else out there currently struggling to cope with their IBS. the beginning is always the hardest. even if you don't believe me right now, I promise it gets better.
