Join Crossroads of the Force as we go down memory lane with the  legendary author Steve Perry, author and pioneer on the groundbreaking novel & Lucasfilm project, Shadows of the Empire.  The Shadows project was an unprecedented  multi-media undertaking which had not been attempted before in the history of Star Wars.  Continuing the story of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, and all of the iconic Star Wars heroes and villians, this entry into the saga is set squarely in between the events of Empire Strike Back & Return of the Jedi and was released to the public  in a time where there was no hope or promise of future prequels or movies. Accompanied by comics, a musical soundtrack, video games, and more, the Shadows project was truly groundbreaking at the time.  Originally recorded in 2018, join Crossroads of the Force as we open up the vault and talk to Steve as he shares his memories of his time working with Lucasfilm and his journey writing this all-time Star Wars classic.

Nick details his journey through Hollywood that started when he ran away from boarding school to join the circus and ended up working his way to the top working in some of the most storied franchises in Hollywood history. With film credits from the early James Bond films, the original Star Wars, and Indiana Jones, to being the executive stunt coordinator and lightsaber choreographer for all three prequels, Nick shares what it was like to work with Lucasfilm, the tank scene he shared with Sean Connery in Last Crusade, to getting to work directly work with George Lucas for many years mapping out all of those legendary prequel saber fights.
