The northern denominations were always more liberal, eager to do the most unbiblical thing possible. The southern denominations were always more conservative. . . a little slower at compromise. So all compromises for southern denominations must be more surreptitious. But the bottom line is always a rejection of God's law. The heterodox refuse to keep the commandments of God in an age of autonomy.
