What if your standing with God has never depended on your performance?
In Hebrews 7, we see that Jesus is not just a better priest—He is the perfect and permanent High Priest. Unlike the old system that required repeated sacrifices, Jesus offered Himself once and for all, fully dealing with sin.
Yet many of us still live trapped in a cycle of trying to prove ourselves—believing our failures push us away from God or that we need to earn our way back.
But the gospel tells a different story.
Because Jesus never stops representing us, we don’t have to justify ourselves anymore. We can stop striving, stop performing, and draw near to God with confidence.
The question is: are you still trying to prove yourself, or are you trusting the One who already finished the work?
