Welcome to our second guest episode featuring Fritz from Ammo & Quilts - A small yet mighty cap shop out of Indiana who have sealed their space in our community as a small batch cap maker!Their John Hancock hat was so popular this summer, that these two sole owners of Ammo & Quilts cranked out well over 300 of these and they still continue to put them out there. No small feat considering it takes approximately 3'ish hours per cap. All their caps are handmade and cater to the requests within the community. The wait is over! We are officially dropping our premiere guest episode of Caps and Random Sh**! We could not have picked a better partner in crime for our inaugural launch than the amazing Sarah Lopp, owner of Funktified!In this episode, we dive into the fun and wonderful world of Funktified and the history behind it. But that is just the tip of the iceberg. We also unpack the legendary (and slightly unhinged) history of Funkybrims. Get ready for the skinny on how Chris was literally running his hat empire out of a tornado shelter, and how he eventually got evicted (in the most loving, fun way possible, of course) from the Funktified store. Just because we wouldn't be "Caps and Random Stuff" without a little extra randomness, the universe handed us some classic technical difficulties. Right in the middle of our chat, my co-host Alyx completely drops out of the conversation because a phone call interrupted her recording. Ah, the absolute struggles of being famous!

Welcome to the premiere episode of CRS - Caps and Random Stuff (Sh**) with Paul and Alyx! We built this podcast / vodcast to celebrate our deep love for newsboy-style caps and the amazing community that surrounds them. For our premier episode, we wanted to pull back the curtain and talk about how we got started, our thoughts on ladies rocking these classic styles, and highlight some of the legendary hatmakers in the game.

Of course, it wouldn’t be "Random Sh**" without a little chaos. The internet completely dropped during our very first recording. Instead of editing it out, we pushed through and left it in for your entertainment.
