Upright Ones Confess - Psalm 32

In this sermon we were reminded that the upright are forgiven sinners who humble themselves before God and confess their sins. This is because God gives His people understanding of their sinful condition, and teaches them to trust fully in His steadfast love. Indeed, genuine blessedness is not found in hiding our sins, but in bringing them honestly before God. And as undeserving recipients of His grace, we should therefore humble ourselves, confess our sins, and seek to walk in His ways at all times"Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the Lord. Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!" (Psalm 32:10-11)

The Faithful Laborer - 1 Thessalonians 2:17-20

Through it, we saw how Paul deeply loved and longed for the believers in Thessalonica, even when he was separated from them. Although Satan hindered his plans to visit them, Paul remained committed to serving His people. Thus, we were reminded that faithful labor means loving God's people, standing firm against opposition, and continuing to serve while looking forward to Christ's return. The people we faithfully serve for Christ will one day be our joy and glory when He comes finally."For what is our hope or joy or crown of boasting before our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not you? I Am The Bread of Life - John 6:35-59

In this sermon we were reminded that He alone is the true Bread of Life, who gives eternal life to all whom the Father has given Him. Though many rejected His sayings and turned away, their unbelief ultimately did not frustrate God's sovereign purpose. Only those whom the Father draws will come to Christ, and those who come to Him by faith will never be cast out but will instead receive everlasting life. Therefore, it must come as no surprise to us when the world rejects Christ. And amidst this, we must remain deeply grateful even more that God, in His grace, has brought us to Himself to believe in His Son!"As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.” (John 6:57-58)
