Paul Bateson had a speaking part in The Exorcist and was nice enough to do his part to support the supposed  "Exorcist curse" by committing a brutal murder a few years later. His crime(s?) went on to inspire a different, almost equally infamous movie. There's a claim to fame for ya, huh?
