Crumble is the story of Alex, a young man living in a private psychiatric ward in Yorkshire, looking back on the pressure, fear, and hallucinations that led to his breakdown before his A-levels. As he tries to make sense of voices, animals, family expectations, medication, and the life he may or may not return to, the story moves between dark humour and quiet sadness. It is an intimate story about ambition, madness, treatment, and the fragile hope of becoming whole again.
