Alane is a breast cancer survivor and advocate who has been the head cheer coach at Clark Atlanta University since August 2011, leading her team to the 2019 SIAC Championship.
Alane graduated from Clark Atlanta University in 1997 with a degree in Business, Design & Merchandising, where she was actively involved as a cheerleader from 1993-1997, winning back-to-back National Black College Cheer Championships.
She also participated in the International Business Club, served as Secretary, and showcased her talents in various Homecoming Fashion Shows as a model, choreographer, and director.
