Do you have an upcoming job or promotional interview, that you want to feel fully prepared for so you can crush it?
If so, that is the purpose of today's episode.
I answered the question "What do I need to know to make my next interview the best one I've ever had?"
Back when I was interviewing people as a supervisor/manager, I was taught this principle:
"Past actions are predictors of the future."
Once I understood what that meant (and how to communicate that during the interview) is when my promotions started to happen with LAPD.
I had done 6 interviews without knowing what I shared in today's spisode, and did not get any of those jobs.
After I made these few tweaks I talk about today, I had 4 consecutive interviews where I got the jobs I was going for, which allowed me to reach the rank of Sergeant II before retiring from LAPD early this year.
It's not because I'm "magical" at speaking, because obviously I'm not. It's because I had some insight into the process that I want to share with you today.
