I'm not ready to make this MAJOR shift in my life, but in all reality, I will never be fully prepared. After putting this off for two years, I'm not waiting any longer . . . No more excuses! My attitude is very simple: "I'd rather die happy, trying to live my dream over continuing an unhappy life." This adventure won't kill me - I'm smarter than that LOL (I think)! The bottom line is this - it's about to get very real!!! If you've been following my podcast, you know I have three dogs . . . They are also ready to move! We've been going on rides in the SUV to get them comfortable traveling, and they've been spending much more time inside with me because they can't be outside in the Arizona desert heat! The bottom line is; the Three Stooges are becoming quite spoiled! But, I'm okay with that. They are great dogs, and very smart! (Catahoula / Rhodesian Ridgeback mix) They quickly learned the sound of a rattlesnake and know to back away and bark like crazy! Someday, I will share video of the training.
Aside from a very expensive septic system on the property, I have no options for sewer! BUT, if there is ZERO waste-water, there is no need for a septic system. Listen along as I share some facts about water consumption and how I plan to fully utilize every drop of water to it's fullest capacity. With some unconventional thinking that is far outside the box, my homestead will produce absolutely no wastewater. Learn how - It's quite interesting.
Social media channels are published and I reveal some other exciting news! The real adventures are just days away and things are getting very real, very fast. Listen in to learn what's on the horizon for Crushing The Box . . . It's much bigger than just this podcast.
After telling a short, but funny story about getting my microphone placement just right; I get into the basics of what will happen upon my arrival at my property in Arizona. Learn about how I will obtain water and electricity, and the general construction of the permanent cabin.
Over the past few days, I have been inundated with emails from listeners. The feedback has been awesome and the questions are great! Today, I take a few minutes to answer some of your questions. EMAIL questions/comments to: [email protected] . . . Let me know what you think about the new intro and outro for the podcast, and keep those questions coming.
Not being true to yourself is a dark and dangerous place to live your life. Today I share my personal background of living a lie for the first 30 years of my life and the consequences of not being true to myself. I have discovered the CLARITY & COURAGE to stop caring about what others think of me and start living my authentic life.
Every Friday I tell a story from my past - and I have plenty of them! Learn more about me as I share my past - The good, the bad, AND the ugly. Today's story is definitely not one I'm proud of, but it is a big part of my past and definitely changed the course of my life.
In order to pursue your dreams and/or goals, you MUST learn to be uncomfortable, and more importantly, overcome your fears. Your brain is the biggest bully in your life! Think about that - your mind speaks to you every day, and it will manipulate your thoughts until they are irrational fears. So, let's talk about overcoming fictional fears and getting uncomfortable enough to achieve your goals and dreams. Let's discover how to conquer irrational fears and blaze a new trail in life! It starts right now - not tomorrow!
I recently heard, "Life begins when you step into the unknown." After some thought about that statement, I came to fully agree with those words and decided to share my thoughts about getting out of the 'Comfort Zone' and living a happier, more fulfilling life.
