Do you ever wonder why your step-kids sometimes treat you like you're in the way or sometimes they may just want you out of the way because you find yourself dismissing or myth-busting their thought of had you not been in their dad's life... that their mom and their dad would be together. And so in today's StepMom truth bomb, I'm going to tell you an awesome story. My very own story.
This week, we're going to be talking about awareness. You need this in order to live your own step-mom life, and this week's stepmom tip is "if loving you is wrong, I don't want to be right."

We love him but with so much drama and the feeling of being alone in this Stepmom life, we can't help but wonder at times is it worth it all.
Love them or Leave him is oh so not the case. Just the same, in today's show, we will discuss ways for you to not let "them" create reasons for you to want to leave him.

I bring in the most dynamic people to give us perspective, to give us help, and the "how-to" become better. Step-moms and let me tell you this time, I do not discipline.
I bring to you none other than the love of my life, Mr. Sampson.
This is going to be something so special.
Welcome to this week of Crushing the Chaos, where I will be bringing you another stepmom truth. Now, this format is a little bit different than our regular format. In this show format, we will be having a conversation. That's what I want. For these stepmom truths to be for you a conversation. Today's stepmom truth is going to be about...
Are you bringing your past heartaches into your current relationships?
In this week's episode, I'm joined by Tamara Johnson (aka Tammy J). After saying "I do" in 2013, Tammy began her journey in the world of step-parenting. Juggling the struggles of being a step mommy with the pressures of blended family life, Tammy was ready to step away from it all, including her marriage. However, with the help of personal therapy, marriage counseling, prayer, and newly founded confidence, Tammy found the strength to continue on in her truth.
While healing and rediscovering herself, Stepmom Goals, LLC was unleashed to help chase away the clouds of perfection as she encourages each stepmother to step gorgeously further into their God-given purpose. Currently, Tammy J is preparing for the release of her first children's book, Mama T and Me! She also has a stepmother affirmation journal on Amazon titled A Journal for the Stepmother with a Pen & Purpose.

Let's keep this year's Stepmom Goals Setting simple. When you keep it simple, it's just having a word. And so, as I think about, and as you reflect on the year, if you don't even come up with a step-mom goal, I want you to at least come up with a word for yourself, as far as what you're going to practice in this next coming year in your stepmom role.
