So at the time of recording and submitting this, it is the day before ADHD Awareness Month. October is important to me because of ADHD Awareness (and obviously Spooky Season). I figured I would give an in-depth analysis into my life and other people's lives that ADHD affects. It is a very long episode because talking about ADHD is something I am very passionate about and am very emotional about. ADHD is either the Silent Killer or the Invisible Friend. There is no one or the other.
Literally 5 minutes after "Going Down the Rabbit Hole" of searching "Facts about ADHD", I had found an article about the leading mental disorder that led to child suicides being ADHD. It really hit me in a personal way since I have had ADHD my whole life. It is an often misunderstood mental disorder that often makes us people with ADHD feel "out of touch" with others when we do certain things that cause others to wonder "What is he/she doing?" Please, give this a listen. It is important to understand this.
When nostalgia hits, you must talk about it. Here, I talk about my years of playing travel street/dek hockey and the impact it has had on my life. From Penguin C to Cadet A, I loved travel street/dek hockey and I was taking back to those years after reuniting with someone who I played with on those teams.
