For this month of October, month of mission, Fr John Roche a member St. Patrick's Missionary Society shares his faith journey with us. Born in Athlone he spent many happy years living within the local community including playing a lot of gaelic football some of which involved playing for his county. He shares with us his journey to priesthood and of ministering in Africa for nearly 50 years. Now retired in Athlone he took time out to tell his story and share some of his thoughts on evangelisation and encouraging words to those of us living our faith in the present day. 

We thank Fr John for allowing us to hear him tell of his journey in faith and wish him many happy years listening to the Holy Spirit as it continues to guide him.
