An orthopedic surgeon who sees a lot of athletes, she has is an avid runner, not only having ran track in high school and college but she has done three ironman races and approximately 20 marathons. In her college days she was also a student athletic trainer at Notre Dame. (Have tissues handy for her story about halfway through the interview.)
