Jesus told His disciples, “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves” (Matthew 10:16). Judging from this, the biblical basis for church security boils down to being wise while living in a wicked world. Some may think, “It can’t happen here.” The truth is, “It CAN happen here.”
