9 min - Kaluth, el Vengado - Canción Tradicional de Ered-Ard
Antigua canción tradicional de Ered-Ard (las Montañas Altas), en la versión que Hargrim estaba ejecutando en la taberna del Fuerte Vloria.
Letra:
Sobre la montaña
un viento pasó,
y envuelta en llamas
la aldea cayó.
El pueblo en silencio
jamás despertó
aquella mañana en que
vino el dragón.
Su boca emanaba
un rugido feroz.
Su sombra era fuego,
su nombre temor.
Y mientras morían
enanos por mil,
Kaluth, el valiente,
logró resistir.
Entre las cenizas,
su hacha se alzó,
y el bravo guerrero
enfrentó al dragón.
Las garras y el fuego,
las alas en cruz,
hallaron la carne
del bravo Kaluth.
Ya sin armadura
el guerrero sonrió,
su hacha sin filo
tampoco dudó.
Bañado en su sangre,
Kaluth se lanzó,
y un ultimo golpe
en la bestia asestó.
El hacha sin filo
encontró al dragón,
y supo enterrarse
en el cruel corazón.
Tendido en un ala
de la bestia cruel
cumplió su destino
el guerrero aquel.
Y así victorioso
en los ojos de Tyr,
Kaluth, el vengado,
llegó a su fin.
